With our specialist "Validation and Certification" department, we help support your vehicle development projects from drawing up the specification book through to the SOP.
The integrated portfolio begins with the implementation of detailed competition analysis and an extensive development of full vehicle specification books. We also offer you services in producing full validation plans and the associated planning of intended trials in line with the schedule. Our employees have years of experience in the area of managing and controlling the necessary prototypes to subsequently ensure compliance with your project deadlines. Our portfolio in the area of "validation and certification" is rounded off by the coordination and implementation of full vehicle trials, which then result in an approval recommendation for the vehicles.
Alongside our core expertise in safeguarding full vehicle projects, we also have specialist knowledge in the areas of corrosion protection and certification/type testing (homologation). The first includes the design of constructive corrosion protection and ensuring stone chip protection for your product. Our strength is the expertise and experience in the organization, accompaniment and analysis of corrosion inspections as well as documentation.
In the area of certification/type testing (homologation), our specialist department also offers you a wide range of services. Beginning with the definition of requirements of your product on the basis of various stipulations from different countries, the specification of requirements, trials, documentation and the associated safeguard schedule through to coordination and implementation of certification - we offer you an extensive portfolio of services in this area. You will also benefit from our close cooperation with several authorities and technical service offices that has grown over the years.
Trial and Vehicle Construction (Vehicle Prepare Center)
Our "Vehicle Prepare Center" team offers extensive services in all areas of vehicle construction. We have a broad spectrum of projects from manufacturing individual pieces such as show cars in our workshops through to process-optimized small batch production. Alongside the actual assembly, we provide you with our expertise in the areas of project management and "warehousing and logistics".
Under the development of individual pieces, we understand for example the respective alignment of the base construction. We also produce engine mountings (e.g. chassis and cabriolet) in this field of work. The development of authority and special vehicles also belongs to this area of expertise, as well as other special solutions and the development of show and concept vehicles.
Another element of the portfolio of the "Vehicle Prepare Center" department is producing parts made of sheet metal or plastic. This covers the production of prototypes made of plastic with batch material quality using injection moulding tools or using system tools for some variations. In addition, our employees have years of experience in the area of sheet metal processing, such as for base construction parts, to produce prototype parts close to series production for physical validation (PMU) of the digital process.
The assembly of vehicles after paintwork begins for us with procurement of parts, availability checks and commissioning to form a basis for a successful project. Alongside the actual assembly of your vehicles, we also offer you the equipment and preparation of trial vehicles (sensor technology). Of course, our portfolio also covers the commissioning and pre-conditioning of trial vehicles before handover to the customer.
Our employees also know how to perform alignment work and replace damaged parts in crash vehicles to be able to use them several times over.
With a view to the further spread of alternative motors, we also offer you our expertise in the area of battery-operated vehicles, electric vehicles with fuel cells and hybrid vehicles. For example, all of our staff members have been trained in how to handle high voltages and in various development projects in which main areas for electro-ability enable us to carry out complex vehicle projects.
