We make every effort to ensure that the customer's requirements with regard to design are given due consideration; there can be huge differences here, starting with the design systems in use and the related CAD guidelines, to design guidelines and standards.
For this reason, our design teams are organised according to manufacturer - not products. These client service teams are familiar with any changes made by the OEM, regardless of which series or plant is involved, or whether a change is product-specific or related to a new general specification. The experience we have gained in projects which have been concluded, project reviews and "lessons learned" provide all the relevant data needed to solve any specific task you might have. This is the foundation of our top-level, long-standing and reliable cooperation.

Production equipment design from concept to series
The Design division offers integrated competence for one-off solutions, but also for turnkey systems for the complete body in white department. With our worldwide network of offices and extensive CAD capacity for all common systems such as Catia, Unigraphics or Fides, we are well able us to handle complex development projects.
Within the context of simultaneous engineering, we favour an integrative approach, with the body engineering, plant design, production simulation and production systems divisions all working together, to create ideal project interfaces.
Our spectrum of design services ranges from the digital implementation of the initial idea through to the creation of detailed designs and production drawings. We have successfully handled even the most complex engineering projects involving over 200,000 hours.
