EDAG Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG takes over business operations of iSILOG GmbH

Expansion of simulation expertise in production plant engineering

Fulda 4th May, 2015 EDAG Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG (EDAG PS) takes over the business operations of iSILOG GmbH with effect from 1st May, 2015. With the integration, Fulda-based, globally active engineering service provider EDAG PS expands its process simulation competencies and capacity in production engineering.

iSILOG GmbH, which has facilities in Baden Baden, Dreieich und Hanover, specialises in simulation services and software solutions. The Baden-Baden and Hanover facilities will be retained, while the employees from the iSILOG facility in Dreieich will continue their work at the existing EDAG PS facility in Rüsselsheim. The team looks back on 15 years' experience. What began as an engineering service provider now employs 19 technical experts in the field of production and logistics process simulation.

The range of services offered by EDAG PS covers all all factory and production systems-related services, from planning to virtual commissioning. This enables the more than 1,280 employees to plan complete factories for all fields, including cross processes, and provide single-source support throughout the implementation stage.

In today's world, simulation technologies such as process simulation and the digital factory have firmly established themselves as essential elements of production development.
