New CEO in China

After 3 years of successfully running the EDAG Business in China and the Region Asia / Paciifc Region, Mr. Peter Rehbein handed over, his responsibility as Regional Director Asia and Managing Director China to Dr. Lars Roehrig at the beginning of 2015.

During his last 3 years in Asia, Mr. Peter Rehbein has achieved a lot of success. To name a few, he has constantly increased the company’s size, integrated Ruecker company and positioned EDAG in China as one of the leading engineering companies in the automotive business. Our customers are positively recognising and appreciating EDAG’s Development. Mr. Peter Rehbein took over a new responsibility for EDAG in Germany as Director of Process Management. This will keep him involved with nearly all major vehicle projects developments for German / Chinese Joint Ventures. This way the Asian Organization and Mr. Peter Rehbein will constantly stay in contact in the future.

Dr. Lars Roehrig spent eight years with EDAG Germany with responsibility in different management positions. He also spent some time in the EDAG office of Detroit and he had several visits to EDAG Shanghai before. During the past years he was always working very close to the global Board of EDAG and has an excellent network within the whole EDAG organisation. Before joining EDAG he worked for suppliers in the German automotive industry. Being an engineer with a long history in the automotive business and having worked for EDAG in different positions, he has been defined by Mr. Joerg Ohlsen, EDAG Global CEO, “best suited for leading EDAG’s Asia / Pacific activities together with the current management team”. 

During Chinese New year festivities, the management and all the employees have celebrated the farewell party of Mr. Peter Rehbein and the Welcome party of its new CEO in China, Dr. Lars Roehrig.
