The EDAG group offers founded expertise in component calculation based on in-house software developments as well as the use of all common tools for finites elements method (FEM). We offer you long-standing experience in the weight-optimised structural computation for metal components as well as rotorblades and nacelle covers made of fibre-reinforced plastic. Our engineers are accomplished and experienced in taking various materials into account when calculating, e.g. for "hot" and "cold climate" applications or for global country specific characteristics.
Customer and supplier specific requirements are taken into account when calculating the rotorblades and various glass and carbon fibres, epoxy, venylesther and polyester resins as well as a number of sandwich core materials are used.
In the areas of FEM structural computation and software optimisation we work in close coordination with the experts in our Aerospace division, with whom we are constantly further developing the verification procedures for weight optimised design.
