Function
The accumulating conveyor belt delivers parts to processing lines and connects several system areas. With this system it is possible to accumulate parts of the manufacturing areas. The solid aluminium lightweight design permits fixing via a substructure to the floor or to a steel-structure or allows fixation at the ceiling. The parts are transported in an upright or suspended mounting position.
The part carrier which consists of an aluminium profile has two clamping devices at the underside, which grip the curved tooth belts with a determined friction force. By adjusting this force via different springs, the transportation force can be adjusted. The part carriers have two ball bearing guide rolls on both sides. For bigger components the part carriers can be coupled in different variations.
The part carrier will be held in the unloading area by pneumatic cylinders. It is centred in two directions (width and length). In the empty return track the part carrier passes the conveying distance throught to the next accumulating part carrier.
Positioning of the part carriers is determined by proximity switches for the loading and unloading.

This system allows a clock-controlled part transport in the manufacturing areas.
