Welding Technology

To be able to meet diverse requirements concerning the welding process, we have developed special products aimed at closing the various gaps in the welding process and its automation. 

• Electrode cap changer
  The electrode cap changer takes up very little space, and can be installed in an automatic cell. This reduces manual electrode cap changes to a minimum. The caps are changed at precisely the right moment.
• Welding tongs
  The welding tongs are supervised by EDAG Group from their design through to being put into operation.
• Weldvision
  With the aid of Weldvision, we are able to calculate the joint positions of welding processes that involve a measure of tolerance, thus guaranteeing process precision.
• VarioPicker
  Using the VarioPicker, it is possible to weld interior and exterior panels without injury to the outer skin panel. This process enables both components to be fixed directly after the roller hemming process, before they are moved.
