Supplier care

Supply chain management – Optimisation of the supply chain

In the last few years, car manufacturers have concentrated more and more on their core expertise and for this reason the role of the suppliers is becoming more important. Now the share of the value-added chain is over 70%.

We support OEMs in the automobile industry with the control of suppliers and safeguard the quality of components. With Supplier#care, we check and qualify suppliers in all component spectrums, so that customer specifications are met and high product quality guaranteed.

Wir sorgen für nachhaltige supply chains und optimieren den gesamten Wertschöpfungsprozess der Hersteller und Lieferanten.

Auditing and release in our value-added chain

In our supplier control, we check and optimise the processes and products for use in test vehicles and prototypes as well as in series production. With established and standardised processes, we provide punctual releases with the required level of quality. For our customers, we provide the development of a sustainable supplier chain.

3 phases of the editorial process

Our editorial process consists of 3 superordinate phases:

  • Information intake using specifications, interviews and analyses of the supplier structure. Thereafter the classification of components is defined.
  • Structuring of the information according to the prioritised component overview and analysis of the phases of the product development process.
  • Knowledge transfer using releases, samplings, design status validation and using optimised process and procedural runs.

Optimised quality using expert knowledge

To safeguard the quality in the supplier chain, we can also fall back on the experts from Claim care and Assembly care. Here damage and problems in vehicles from the market and series production are analysed and traced back to the respective components. So with this combination we ensure less faults in the products - in a preventative and corrective manner.
