Our model construction centres are the sites where motor vehicle concepts turn into physical realizations of the greatest precision. The work done by our team ranges from design models to cubings and data control models to presentation vehicles which are ready to roll.

Precision products are also manufactured in our body and vehicle centres where full-range capacities for every process step and state-of-the-art technical equipment are available. From the concept vehicle to the ready-to-roll prototypes to small series for our customers. The tasks performed range from the manufacture of prototype tools close to series production level and sheet metal parts to the complete production of the motor vehicle carcase and the assembly of all of the components into the complete vehicle.


Competence for Series Production
One of the special services offered by EDAG is the small series production.
Whether special fitting variants, special vehicles or armoured vehicles:
the business division “Production” offers high-quality, economically efficient production options for vehicle modules or derivatives in small quantities. Our special expertise in the field of deformation technology using special steels for vehicle armour secures a significant competitive advantage for our customers.

Our press works enable us to offer know-how and capacities for the mass production of single parts and components as well. Body, chassis and piping parts as well as oil pans and roof frames and on to components for side impact protection made of high-strength materials are all part of the services we offer.

When it comes to plastics, we have the expertise for the development, simulation and manufacture of prototype, small series and mass series tools. Thanks to our many years of experience in plastics technology, we can offer our customers consulting services in every phase of tool manufacture. From the appropriate design for plastic components to the use of innovative manufacturing technologies to the application of modern methods for component assembly – we assume responsibility for perfect results.
