As an engineering specialist and all-rounder, EDAG is constantly working on employing new materials and technologies to develop new, lightweight construction potential. One of our accomplishments is a storage compartment door from a truck cab, made of a conventional steel outer panel combined with an organo interior panel allowing a weight reduction of up to 60%. From the business field production technology the new roller hemming process and the EDAG development - "Twin-Step-Roller hemming head" will be presented.
