In accordance with DIN EN 60825-4, the EDAG Laser Cabins can be used passively and with a system. Used in connection with built-in sensors, the laser safety walls and laser process doors can also be utilised as active laser safety walls and doors. The laser cabins can be supplied with camera-based monitoring of the work room (EDAG Vision EVI), also as active laser cabins for state-of-the-art laser applications, for instance with fibre or disc lasers. As a result of their modular construction, the laser cabins can be adapted to a wide variety of production conditions, e.g. by means of horizontal or vertical laser process doors with openings of up to 6000 x 3000 mm, or cycle time optimised, patented turntable protection.
