Top once again!

EDAG received "Top Employer" award in the category "Engineers" for the 12th time!

Düsseldorf/Wiesbaden EDAG Engineering GmbH received the "Top Employer" award for outstanding human resource management in Düsseldorf on 12th February 2019. For the twelfth time in a row, the independent jury of the Top Employers Institute testified to the outstanding working conditions offered by the Wiesbaden-based engineering service provider, and recognised its employee orientation. EDAG once again received "Top Employer" award in the category "Engineers" in this year's competition.

"An excellent result, and one we are delighted with. This new award is a visible recognition of our continuous work and our excellence in human resource management. The permanent investment, for instance in further education, career or mentoring programs through to occupational health management, is extremely important for us to maintain the high level of attractiveness as an employer. For potential applicants, but especially for our employees," says Holger Merz, the COO of the EDAG Group.

A total of 152 companies throughout Germany participated in the Top Employer competition this year – including 19 certified participants in the category "Engineers". The competing companies are put through a uniform validation process. Talent strategy, apprenticeships, training, development and corporate culture of the participating companies are all assessed.

"We know that the lived work culture and learning and training opportunities in companies are what counts in today's job market. We meet this demand with varied training programmes and numerous employee offers that are tailored to our target groups. We also regard the strong commitment in training as an important part of our successful personnel work. The annual objective assessment of our programmes is therefore especially valuable for us," says Birthe Kristin Kuhlenbeck, Head of Recruiting.

The EDAG Group continues its growth strategy, and is always on the lookout for the best employees - particularly for the future-oriented automotive ideas in the fields of electrics/electronics, digitisation, alternative drive systems and software/app development.

As an engineering partner for complete vehicles and production plants, EDAG offers engineers a wealth of prospects for their professional and personal development. The combination of numerous well-known customers and international locations makes EDAG one of the most attractive employers in the automotive sector for both career starters and people with experience.
